The Future Comes from Trust

Daiei Kankyo Co., Ltd was founded in 1979 in Izumi City, Osaka Prefecture, and started with the business of final disposal. With the trust of local residents, we have built a number of facilities to provide one-stop services from collection and transportation to intermediate treatment, recycling and final disposal. We are also working to solve various social issues by developing a wide range of environment-related businesses with waste management and recycling.

As the trend toward a circular economy and a decarbonized society continues to accelerate, we believe that in order to achieve carbon neutrality in the domestic waste management and recycling fields, it is important to undertake various recycling initiatives, such as recycling waste plastics. We view the Plastic Resource Circulation Act, which came into effect in April 2022, and the Act on the Advancement of Recycling Businesses which was promulgated in May 2024, as new growth opportunities, and in collaboration with a variety of partners, we are challenging ourselves to build a recycling scheme that optimally combines material recycling, chemical recycling, and thermal recycling.

In addition, the Waste Management and Public Cleansing Act stipulates that each municipality is responsible for the disposal of general waste, but the reality is that many municipalities are currently experiencing a population decline and are unable to renew new facilities. Therefore, we believe that our mission is to change the way of waste management so that general waste, which has not been outsourced to the private sector, is consolidated with industrial waste management, thereby efficiently generating resources and energy throughout the area and contributing to the realization of a circular economy and a decarbonized society.
