Production and sales of aluminum pellets (deoxidizer)
Deoxidizers are secondary materials used in the steel manufacturing process in blast furnaces. One such material is aluminum pellets made exclusively from aluminum cans. Aluminum pellets are manufactured and sold with high purity under strict quality control which involves removing paint and coating materials from the surface of cans, as well as other impurities such as iron.
TRY-R Recycle Center
The TRY-R Recycle Center, which became a member of the Daiei Kankyo Group in 2016 as a result of a business transfer, manufactures and sells aluminum pellets.
Rotary kiln
Aluminum cans are thermally treated in a rotary kiln to remove paint and coating materials from their surface. Flammable gases generated by the decomposition are circulated to improve thermal efficiency.
