Soil Remediation

Offering Optimal Solutions Ranging
from Surveys and Consulting to Remediation Treatment
in Accordance
with the Soil Contamination Countermeasures Act of Japan

We make a comprehensive judgment based on various conditions and propose the best solution.
After the soil remediation, the soil is reused as aggregate, backfill, or horticultural soil.

Surveying and Consulting

Our experienced and knowledgeable engineers will meet your needs, handling everything from survey planning to on-site survey, analysis, and eval-uation.

Remediation methods

Pyrolysis, melting

High-temperature heat treatment renders PCBs and other toxic sub-stances contained in contaminated soil harmless.

Permitted capacity: 487t/day

Soil washing

Toxic substances are separated and removed from contaminated soil by washing using friction and water flow.

Permitted capacity: 708t/day

Dry magnetic extraction

Dry magnetic extraction (DME) treatment is performed by mixing iron powder with contaminated soil and using magnetic force to separate and remove heavy metals and other toxic substances.

Permitted capacity: 2,520t/day

Sorting, insolubilization, and chemical desorption

In addition to moisture content adjustment and foreign matter removal, insolubilization treatment to reduce elution of Class II designated hazard-ous substances by chemicals, etc., and chemical desorption to volatilize and remove Class I designated hazardous substances by utilizing the heat of hydration with quicklime are also performed.

Permitted capacity: 8,200t/day

*As of October 2022

Conversion of soil into raw material for cement

We work with cement companies to actively utilize treatment to convert low-concentration contaminated soil into raw material for cement.

In-situ countermeasures

In addition to the removal of contaminated soil, we propose in-situ countermeasures.
