Efficiently Recycling Plastics That Are Indispensable
for Daily Life as Resource
The efficient collection and utilization of waste plastics is an important challenge to be addressed under the SDGs
in order to solve the problem of marine plastic pollution and other issues.
In Japan, The Law Concerning the Promotion of Resources Recycling of Plastics came into effect in April 2022,
and all industries are required to take proactive measures to tackle this issue.

Production doubles with
the establishment of the Plafactory
We established the Plafactory in Sakai City, Osaka in April 2020. Production of recycled plastic pallets made mainly from plastic containers and packaging, which had been carried out in Neyagawa City, Osaka, was transferred to the Plafactory in FY2021. Until FY2021, we manufactured 300,000 plastic pallets per year, in 2022, we installed additional equipment to double the production volume to further promote resource recycling.

The recycled plastic pallets manufactured by our group are made entirely from recycled raw materials, thus making a significant contribution to the environment and maintaining high quality.
