Support for All Aspects of Waste Managemen

We propose new services based on our past achievements and know-how. As waste management professionals, we work to solve our customers' issues and provide support.

Community-based social business

We promote digital transformation through open innovation in collaboration with various companies, industry, government, and academia, as well as the use of new technologies such as AI and IoT, to address social issues related to waste management and customer needs.

Disaster waste disposal information management system

This system can manage the entire process of wide-area disaster waste management in real time by capturing on-site history and image data. This system was put to actual use in Hitoyoshi City, Kumamoto Prefecture, in the aftermath of torrential rain that struck the region in July 2020, and was able to provide prompt and accurate reports to the affected municipalities.

Spark detection system

This image processing system detects small explosions when lithiumion batteries mixed with waste are crushed and processed, and automatically activates a fire extinguishing system. This system was introduced at the Mie Recycle Center in 2020, greatly reducing the risks and tasks performed by people.

Automated vehicle dispatch system

When dispatching collection vehicles, in addition to responding to orders from customers and managing crews and vehicles, human expertise on such things as types of waste, vehicle models and collection patterns was essential. The Daiei Kankyo Group is working on the development of an AI-based automated vehicle dispatch system, and began pilot tests using a prototype in 2021.

Daiei Kankyo's Concept of Digital Transformation

Waste management services

Waste management operations are both time-consuming and costly, and environmental laws and regulations surrounding companies are becoming stricter every year with the increasing onus of responsibility being placed on waste generators. As such, we can provide total support for waste man-agement operations by utilizing the knowledge and expertise we have cultivated over the years.

Centralized management
of operations related to waste management

We carefully assess the problems facing customers and their requests for outsourcing, and propose possible ways to support them.
We also offer the DINS Support System (DSS) service, which enables efficient waste management by providing various types of information on waste transactions, as well as information on revisions to laws and ordinances, which can be checked on the web as needed. We can also dispatch personnel to provide guidance on waste sorting and other services to meet customers’ needs.

Thoroughly manage the risk
of unauthorized resale or leakage of products

If products that should have been disposed of are illegally resold or leaked, it can have a significant impact on a company's brand value. We have developed a system that allows to check the status of each process in real time, from loading to transport, unloading, and treating. We promise safe and secure treatment by thoroughly managing the risk of unauthorized resale or leakage of products after disposal.

Centralized management from analysis to treating

By undertaking the entire process from analysis to treatment within the group, we are able to improve efficiency and significantly reduce costs. We analyze and manage data on the properties of waste materials and propose appropriate treatment methods. In addition, for soil contamination survey we can quickly deliver the results of soil history surveys using our proprietary survey system.

Reducing costs through waste separation

We promote a sorting and collection system in which separate collection containers are installed for each type of waste, such as waste plastic, wood waste, and plaster board. This system improves the efficiency of collection work and reduces disposal costs.

Support for zero-emission initiatives

We fully support our customers' zero-emission initiatives by offering proposals for reducing waste, thoroughly sorting accepted waste, and recycling suitable for various types of waste. The Daiei Kankyo Group renders incinerated ash harmless by roasting after incineration, and recycles it into civil engineering materials and other resources.

Solution-based services that contribute to municipal waste management

We coordinate the best plan for the various issues and needs that municipalities have in relation to waste management.

Formulation of waste disposal plans

Depending on the issues and needs of the municipality, we can develop a plan for outsourcing to the private sector or dispatching personnel to improve the recycling rate, extend the life of facilities, and reduce waste disposal costs. In response to the recent increase in the number of disasters, we calculate the amount of waste generated based on the anticipated disaster, and propose plans for smooth responses to disasters, including sorting, transportation, treatment methods, disposal sites, recycling rates, and so on. This service is only possible thanks to the Daiei Kankyo Group's experience in collecting and treating disaster waste on the ground at many disaster-hit regions.
