First growth period: Early stage
The Great Hanshin Awaji Earthquake of 1995 caused major changes in the foundation of our group's business. Our group was involved in handling about a third of all the earthquake waste, but the tremendous capital investment worsened our financial situation. We formulated our 1st Management Plan to enable all of our executives and staff to come together to overcome this adversity. We executed a major shift from landfills to recycling, and adopted, as our management vision, realization of a combined agricultural-industrial resource recycling system.
