8th Management Plan to Present
In FY2018, we greatly exceeded income objectives set for FY2020 in the 7th Management Plan, so to further lay the foundation for a 100-year company, we formulated our 8th Management Plan starting from FY2019. We began efforts to address ESG measures.
To address social issues that have come to the fore due to rapid changes in social systems, since FY2021 we changed our previous 5-year Medium/Long-Term Management Plan to a 3-year Medium-Term Management Plan, make yearly updates, and strive for more rigorous ESG measures.
2019

Plafactory Co., Ltd. was established as a plastic product manufacturing company, producing logistics pallets from recycled plastic materials.

Controlled final disposal site (8th period)
was completed at Mie Chuo Kaihatsu Co., Ltd.
At the Mie Recycle Center of Mie Chuo Kaihatsu Co., Ltd. in Iga City, Mie Prefecture, our group's largest controlled final disposal site was completed, with a permitted capacity of approximately 6.64 million m3.

Opened Iga Recycle Center in Iga City, Mie Prefecture
Construction of a methane fermentation facility and composting facility,
which began in March 2021, was completed.
The facilities are permitted to dispose of both industrial and general waste, and will start operating the following month.

Opened Miki Biomass Factory in Miki City, Hyogo Prefecture
The Miki Biomass Factory, a heat treatment facility at Miki Recycle Center, has begun operation.The facility generates electricity from mixed-waste incineration of various wastes with biomass resources such as waste wood and food residue.
